Bugatti Veyron Super SportThe world's fastest production car currently is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport according to Guinness World Records. The speed they have posted in the record book is 431 km/h (268 mph). The Hennessy Venom actually holds the unofficial top speed 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h) the reason this car does not hold the record is because only 16 on the supposed 29 were sold. This then disqualifies it from the category of World's Fastest Production Cars. Guinness does however consider it a production car.
